We had a dead tree in a awkward place that needed to come down. Brian was able to come in and drop it safely and efficiently.

Brian Johnston did an excellent job with our gate and replacing a post. The gate is 100% repaired and so much improvement.. Brian repaired my front deck which was starting to sink due to rot.
He did a great job, and it's super sturdy and clean. Additionally, Brian added protection to prevent rodents from digging under the deck. Also, Brian went the extra mile and resolved a safety issue with a sunken brick on my walkway. He was also very quiet while working, and cleaned everything up afterwards.
I'll be using BuildingByBri for all my deck needs going forward. They are courteous, professional, and they get the job done right.
We had our new fence section done. The whole process from getting a quote to scheduling to getting the work completed was seamless. Brian arrived on time for the work, completed it ahead of schedule as well and the workmanship was great. We were referred to Building by Bri by our general contractor, Cadence Construction and Design Inc., who had done a lot of work on our home and trust their opinion. We were looking to have a fence put up and also some trees trimmed. Brian and Jill both came to our home to provide the quote. They were very friendly and helpful and hired them for the work. The work was completed exactly how we had hoped. Brian and his colleague did an amazing job, answered all of our questions, and kept us updated on any issues that arose. They also talked to our neighbors and kept them updated as well. Building by Bri did an incredible job, and we are already thinking about hiring them for another job. We would highly recommend them!

It was a very positive experience for me. Jill and Brian make a great team. Jill got back to me right away with a quote to replace some fence posts. Brian got the job done ahead of time. The fence looks great! Would definitely recommend.
We used Brian and Building by Bri to trim the cedar trees (formerly hedges) along the perimeter of our property. These trees were now over 20 feet tall, and seemed too small to get a ladder to the upper sections for me to trim. But Brian came and did an amazing trim job. He was very courteous, cleaned up after the project, and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend Brian for future projects, and will definitely be using him again in the future.
